The development of Japanese wind music culture can be said to be a pioneer in Asia. As early as 1934, the first professional wind orchestra appeared in Japan. It also supports the development of wind music. Yamaha Corporation (YAMAHA) provides high quality for most school wind orchestras. The cheap musical instruments minimize the entry barrier for wind music. Also, Yamaha has established many music schools to provide orthodox music training in a unified way. Japanese school music teachers often conduct their school wind bands. Still, they may only have received music education and training, or they may not have a background in wind or wind, so Yamaha Corporation will send wind instructors to teach the school's music teachers in wind music pedagogy. Besides, the school's symphony band teachers and conductors will also hold seminars regularly to share their teaching experience. The success of Japanese wind music is also made by culture. Japanese culture is to absorb foreign cultures into its own culture, creating its own new culture, they has a strong sense of protectionism; Also ,they pay much attention to their creation of new culture. The same is true for wind music in Japan. In the annual All Japan Wind Music Contest, the orchestra has to play one of several topic pieces and then another one of its own choices. In terms of subject music, all works were written by composers from Japan, and one of them was the winning work of the Asahi Composition Award (wind music) hosted by Asahi Shimbun. This disguised form is to encourage local Japanese composers to create more wind music works. In fact, Japanese composers will also adapt orchestral works to wind music, even write wind versions for pop music, and customized a piece for wind band.
